Neymar is reportedly prioritizing signing a new five-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain after losing hope of returning to Barcelona.
The Brazilian forward tried to return to the Camp Nou last year, but failed to seal a change.
Barca were interested in re-signing the 28-year-old, but those plans have been thwarted by the economic impact of the coronavirus crisis.
Reports in Spain have suggested that the La Liga giants are in a dangerous financial situation and must now cut their salary spending by £ 170 million to avoid bankruptcy.
That sabotages any chance that they will fund a mega-money offer for Neymar’s services, and it appears that he is now content to stay in Paris.

According to Foot Market , Neymar informed PSG officials that he wanted to sign a new long-term agreement when the club reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season.
PSG eventually advanced to the final before losing 1-0 to competition champion Bayern Munich, leaving Neymar in tears at the final whistle.
Neymar admitted shortly after Champions League heartache that he would stay at PSG for at least the 2020/21 season.
But he is said to be pushing for another contract of the same terms as his current deal, which would see him earn a whopping £ 32.4 million a year for five years.

As things stand, Neymar will be free to leave PSG for nothing in the summer of 2022, but PSG would also be in a compromised position if allowed to arrive within 12 months after his contract expires.
PSG bosses are now hoping to tie Neymar to a new deal as a matter of priority, with talks already underway, and were encouraged by his recent comments about cementing his legacy at the club.
“I will stay at PSG next season! And with the ambition to return to the Champions League final, this time to win it,” he said.
“I like the idea of doing everything possible to put my name in the history books of my club.”
