The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged Ghanaians to reject the presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, on December 7, 2020.
According to the party, the former president lacked the finesse and insight needed to propel Ghana to the next level of its development.
At a press conference on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, Zongo and Inner Cities Development Minister Mustapha Abdul-Hamid accused the opposition of rewriting his manifesto less than a week before the general election.

Urging Ghanaians to vote en masse for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Abdul-Hamid said: “We are on board the Akufo-Addo train. And it is destined for glory. It has restored the hopes of thousands of children. It has revived small, medium and large industries by solving the energy crisis. It has returned the smile to farmers with the planting program for food and employment.
“It has regained the smile on the faces of the people of Zongo, which is now a central part of Ghana’s development planning agenda. Until now, they lived on the margins where the NDC turned them into vote banks. He has recovered the smile on the faces of the sick, who until now have died because there is no ambulance to take them to the hospital ”.
Additionally, he urged voters to choose vision, decisiveness, bold leadership and determination, saying, “These are the qualities that will lead us to the promised land, not to doubt. A leader needs to know where to turn. Otherwise you will crush the bike. “
“To the youth of Ghana, I say this. All the good things you see happening today didn’t happen by accident.
