Democratic National Congress running mate Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has condemned what she says is nepotism disguised as business in Ghana.
Speaking at the launch of the party’s manifesto at UPSA in Accra on Monday, the former education minister said that Ghana’s economy must work for everyone, as the country belongs to all Ghanaians.
“Nepotism, cronyism disguised as business is not good for us. Ghana is better than that. Let there be no doubt that Ghana belongs to all of us and not to a few individuals who claim the power to share our natural resources, ”he said.
Ghana’s economy works for few people – Mahama
Former President John Mahama says that the Ghanaian economy under President Akufo-Addo is working for a few people rather than all Ghanaians.
According to him, the NDC will implement measures to ensure that the economy is able to support all Ghanaians regardless of their political affiliation or background.
“Ghana’s economy does not work for the people, it only works for a few. We will fix the economy and make it work for all Ghanaians. We will fight the disastrous effect of the poor economic performance of this government, ”the NDC flag bearer said at the meeting at the launch of the party’s manifesto at UPSA Hall in Accra on Monday.
Mr. Mahama also promised: “We will put an end to vengeful targets and the collapse of Ghana’s businesses.”
