The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) standard-bearer, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, says the party’s campaign is free from insults and intimidation.
He said that exchanging derogatory words during the campaign corrupts the minds of young people.
“The most important thing is the reason why any party will participate in a political race.
“The best thing is to show proof of the work done during the mandate, then we can move on to the policies that we seek to implement when we vote again for power,” he said.
Professor Naana Opoku-Agyemang spoke at the Breman Palace in Kumasi on Friday, as she continues her six-day campaign tour of the Ashanti region.
In his interaction with bosses and townspeople, he said the economy will not evolve without better policies.
“No country grows without development, not even the first world countries. And so I ask the people of Breman to vote in favor of the NDC because our records in terms of development speak for themselves, “he added.
She sought the blessing and guidance of the Breman chief and urged people to vote en masse for the party during the electoral elections on December 7.
At the end of the tour, Professor Naana Opoku-Agyemang is expected to visit 20 constituencies across the region, where she will present concrete solutions to their challenges as articulated in the NDC People’s Manifesto.
