The Secretary General of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has assured disadvantaged communities across the country that John Mahama and the NDC will expand access to water and electricity to benefit all communities by 2025.
Addressing a mini-durbar of Kajaji chiefs and people in Sene East’s constituency on Thursday, Mr. Asiedu Nketia said that John Mahama will also ensure that all abandoned projects, including roads, educational and health facilities , are completed to improve the quality of life of people. .
The NDC Secretary General assured Ghanaians that the party’s manifesto contains policy and project proposals that have been well considered and packaged to address the priority needs of Ghanaians.
Referring to the Akufo-Addo government’s desperate rush to implement many of the promises of the NDC manifesto, Asiedu Nketia said its action is a reflection of its desperation for power.
“These were the same people who were making fun of John Mahama when we went out to listen to people and appreciate their wishes before putting together the manifesto.”
He also claimed that President Akufo-Addo and his government have been a failure, and now seek to campaign based on lies.
The NDC delegation led by 2020 standard bearer John Dramani visited Atebubu Amantin, where they paid a courtesy visit to the chief, Osabarima Nana Owusu Ababio II and his elders.
Other members of the delegation include Campaign Manager Professor Joshua Alabi, former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, a former Energy Minister and MP, Dr. Kwabena Donkor, national, regional and constituency executives.
