Members of Parliament (MP) of the Democratic National Congress (NDC) stand ready to defend and protect the sanctity of Ghana’s democracy with their lives, ABA Fuseini has said.
“If we [NDC] we have to die to defend this democracy we will. We would not allow anyone to repress us, ”said the Sagnarigu deputy in an interview with Joy news.
His comments come from the confrontation between NDC MPs and Ghana Police Service staff at the Election Commission premises in Accra.
According to Fuseini, opposition lawmakers would redouble their determination to fight any form of electoral injustice against the NDC.
