The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Greater Accra region has expressed dismay at the ability of a security officer to participate in multiple votes in the Klottey Korle constituency.
According to the party’s regional chairperson, Ade Coker, said staff voted in the special voting exercise held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
At least 109,557 people participated in this exercise, carried out in 311 centers throughout the country.
Speaking based in Accra FM class On Monday, December 7, 2020, Coker said, “So, we came here to fill out an objection form.”
However, the Election Commission had no objection form, the Greater Accra NDC chairman lamented. “… this is ridiculous; the law says they must have objection forms, here they do not have objection forms,” he said.
The party has therefore asked its constituency secretary to present an official complaint to the EC to take action. “We come to make sure this guy gets arrested, prosecuted and the ballot here is null and void because he’s compromised,” Coker said.
