According to him, he was informed by an NDC bigwig on Wednesday of the plot to kill him.

He added: “I am being hunted by murderers and I am in a coded place while I am talking to you, I am not even communicating with my wife. Assassins roam the Cape Coast, but they won’t find me. Even if they do, that will be God’s will and I trust God’s will. There will come a time when they will have to kill me because no one can suppress me if that gives them victory in 2024. But I know that Allotey’s blood will never be able to give victory to NDC in the next election. “
The ‘polite fisherman’, as he is affectionately called, claims that the killers followed him while he was in Accra on Wednesday afternoon after he attended a radio show and is currently being pursued on Cape Coast.
He said that he has reported the matter to the Central Regional Police Command and is also trying to reach the Minister of National Security, Albert Kan Dapaah.
The political veteran who followed his suspension resigned from the party. Subsequently, the party issued a statement announcing his expulsion.
