An enthusiastic crowd of supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) thronged Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang and her team when they visited Ejura Sekyere Dumase.

Some of the banners had excerpts from the People’s Manifesto captioned on them.

People’s shouts included messages such as “Y’agye Maame Wei ato mu”, which means “we have accepted this woman” and another popular one that says there will be a Tsunami of support for the NDC in the Ashanti region in December. 2020.

Professor Opoku-Agyemang addressed the former Vice Chancellor of the UCC from the roof of her car.

This was because the impromptu nature of the gathering meant there was no platform for her to climb on so that she could see and be seen by all the people who had gathered around her convoy.

He thanked them for their presence, love, and support for the Democratic National Congress.

She pleaded with them to come forward in similar or even greater numbers on December 7, 2020, to demonstrate their patriotism and loyalty by voting for the NDC.
