Information reaching the Ghpage.com news desk says that Ghanaian musician Kay 2’s real name, Nicholas Mensah, is known for his hit song ‘Juliana’, which was released in the early 2000s.
According to a cousin of the musician identified as Mariam, Kay 2 died of Ulcer, adding that three weeks ago the musician and other family members had a funeral which he helped attend to the guests at the funeral.
On Monday, he was supposed to follow other family members to account for the funeral, but told them he was feeling weak and asked for porridge.
Mariam added that Kay 2 is known as someone who loves to stay home most of the time but after a few hours they started asking about his whereabouts as they haven’t seen him after taking the porridge.
Another cousin of his was asked to check if he was in his room, the cousin returned and confirmed that he was asleep in his room. A few hours later the musician’s aunt asked him why he was still sleeping at that time because apart from the porridge he had not eaten anything.
He continued that it was at that moment that he went to his room to see him lying on the floor, he called him several times but never answered, which caused him to be taken to the nearest hospital.
First aid was administered at the hospital, but when the problem worsened, he was referred to Okomfo Anokye Hospital where he died.
