The Multimedia Group Limited (MGL) has earned numerous top accolades in the 25th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards.
The Group received a total of 14 awards for excellence in reporting in various fields for 2019.
This comes at a time when the media organization is celebrating 25 years of shocking journalism in the country.
Below is the list of MGL winners at Saturday night’s event.

8. Small and micro enterprises: Kwame Anum, Adom FM
9. Health Reports – Afia Amankwah Tamakloe, Adom FM
10. Sports: Kojo Mensah Abroampeh, Adom TV
11. Disability Reports (Will) – Samuel Alfred Amo, Adom FM
12. Reports on transport / road safety – Kojo Mensah Abroampeh, Adom TV
13. Exceptional Covid-19 Reports: Akua Boakyewaa Yiadom, Adom TV
14, Better Child Protection and Participation (Electronic) – Komla Adom, Joy News
Sixty-four journalists were awarded, including special awards.
The awards provide a platform to recognize individuals and companies who play an important role in the growth and development of the industry.
Identified important functions within the industry that promote growth.
The annual awards cover business and financial reporting, magazine and report writing, broadcasting, environmental journalism, global and international journalism, online or multimedia journalism, and photojournalism and news reporting.
Multimedia Group is the largest independent commercial media and entertainment company in Ghana.
The Group has been a great stimulus for the growth of the advertising, creative arts and entertainment industries.
