Mukesh Thakwani, CEO of B5 Plus Limited, a rapidly growing steel and iron company located in Tema, has been honored for his contributions to the growth and development of the manufacturing sector.

The awards that are held every four years are organized by The Business Executive Limited in Accra.
The award is organized with the aim of recognizing hard-working institutions and personalities from the public and private sector who have contributed to the development of the country and the economy.
In a few words, Mr. Mukesh expressed his enthusiasm for the recognition from the organizers of the prestigious Ghana Development Awards.

The awards, as I always say, keep us [B5 Plus Limited] on tiptoe to do more for Ghana as a country. B5 Plus was an honor, I also received an award for my contributions to the growth of the manufacturing sector ”.
He dedicated the awards to the team workers of B5 Plus Limited and believes that the awards will go a long way in motivating workers to work harder.
“I dedicate the awards to our employees because if we win the awards because of their hard work, they are the lifeblood of all companies … B5 Plus Limited will continue to sharpen employees with training and other activities. We have been able to train more than 150 of our workers to be future entrepreneurs and currently the training is still ongoing … B5 Plus has been massively contributing to the fight against coronavirus, we donate heavily to the Ghana Covid-19 fund, we provide free oxygen for public and private hospitals among others ”, he added.
