A mobile coronavirus test unit was established on the outskirts of Old Trafford with Army personnel in charge of operations.
The unit is part of a project led by the Department of Health and Social Care and is one of many that has been deployed across the country in response to local demands.
The center has been testing individuals for Covid-19 after being configured earlier this week.
United has been working hard to help the city of Manchester during the coronavirus blockade.
The club committed to delivering 60,000 meals to NHS caregivers and front-line staff in late April as part of a joint initiative with the Manchester United Foundation.
The Foundation also donated an additional £ 300,000 to its local partner schools, while striker Marcus Rashford helped raise £ 20 million for children who depended on free school meals to make sure they didn’t leave.
The club has also paid tribute to the health service by lighting Old Trafford to explain the NHS.
Medical equipment was also donated to local hospitals and staff were encouraged to volunteer in the local community.
They have also given more than 3,500 Manchester United gifts to NHS staff, including the unrecognized heroes of the hospital’s cleaning and backroom staff.
There have been food and beverage donations and free parking for NHS staff staying at the adjacent Football Hotel, which is owned by Gary Neville and the Class of ’92.
