Manchester United are looking to bounce back quickly from this week’s Champions League exit when they host Manchester City at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Despite their early departure in Europe, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side has had a promising streak in the Premier League, having recorded victories in their last four matches.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Frank Lampard faces his former manager once again when Chelsea travel to Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are seeking their first victory in four Premier League games by hosting Burnley at the Emirates Stadium.

Tottenham will be looking to extend their impressive form away from Crystal Palace, while Liverpool Liverpool is also on the road when they take on Fulham.

LOBOS VS ASTON VILLA

Raúl Jiménez’s injury means the Wolves will miss another quality player for a while. They said goodbye to Messrs. Docherty and Jota in the summer, who were key to their style of play and it is clear that those changes have had an impact in terms of goals scored. In their last four home games, there have been less than 2.5 goals.

Aston Villa has had more than a week to prepare for this after last week’s game with Newcastle was postponed. Dean Smith’s team has had some great performances this season. The victories against Arsenal, Liverpool and Leicester, all away from home, are a great achievement.

However, Villa played counter-attack in those games, knowing they wouldn’t have much of the ball. I don’t see that kind of situation happening here and I feel like it may be the Wolves who get the points in a cautious matter.

NEWCASTLE UNITED VS WEST BROM

Newcastle got a bit of a break after last week’s game against Villa was postponed. They should come in fresh and face a West Brom team that suffered a major defeat at home to Southampton.

The Baggies were good in the game until the red card. They capitulated after that incident and now they will have to turn the corner very quickly before it is too late.

The away team have lost 10 of their last 11 games, and if Newcastle are close to their full power, I think they will score maximum points.

MANCHESTER UNITED VS MANCHESTER CITY

With Manchester United so inconsistent, it is very difficult to know what to expect each time they play.

For City it has been much more stable, after a shaky start. They likely have the most possession here, which oddly could suit United.

Ole Gunnar Solkjaer’s team is much more prepared to play against it, but with City in a much better place at the moment, I think this will end in a victory for the blue half of Manchester.

EVERTON VS CHELSEA

I covered the Chelsea game last weekend and Olivier Giroud especially impressed me. He continued in his great form and I loved the cuteness and intelligence of his racing; it was really a pleasure to see.

Chelsea is in great shape. They are unbeaten in their last nine games and can also boast three clean sheets in their last three away games.

Unfortunately, I would have to say otherwise regarding Everton’s current form. A win in their last seven Premier League games is gloomy reading for Toffees fans, especially after such a promising start.

A bright light has been the appearance of Dominic Calvert-Lewin. He has continued his scoring form, so Everton will continue to carry a great threat in front of goal. That said, with Chelsea in such good shape, I don’t see anything more than an away win.

SOUTHAMPTON VS SHEFFIELD UNITED

I covered the Sheffield United game last weekend and they are definitely not the worst at the bottom. They had a lot of chances in that match but they ended up empty-handed.

Southampton are playing well at the moment. It could be argued that they are hitting above their weight, however Ralph Hasenhüttl has his well-trained side and I hope they approach this match in the way that we have become used to.

I hope Sheffield United starts to get results soon. However, they are facing a team that is in top form, so I think Southampton will take all 3 points.

GLASS PALACE AGAINST TOTTENHAM

This will be an interesting game. Crystal Palace is comfortable playing fast break and with Wilfred Zaha in shape once again, they can be very dangerous.

The same can be said for Tottenham. They do not mind being patient and are very happy in the counterattack. They will have to be more positive here, and I think they will be.

Pound for pound they have quite a distance to the best team, so I want Mourinho’s men to take the points.

FULHAM VS LIVERPOOL

Liverpool were very impressive last week at home to Wolves. Despite having a depleted team, they are still getting results.

Although Fulham has looked good in patches, I’m afraid they will come up short this season. His risky Mitrovic needs a goal.

You may like your chances here but I can’t see past Liverpool getting another win.

ARSENAL VS BURNLEY

Arsenal have been disappointing this season, so far. Mikael Arteta has a lot of work; however, you will see this as the ideal opportunity to get back on track.

I review a lot of statistics in this line of work and, unfortunately for Burnley, they are the latest in most of them.

I hope the Gunners get back on track here, albeit by a small margin.

LEICESTER CITY VS BRIGHTON

I covered Leicester when they scored a late goal to beat Sheffield United last week. They should finish in the top 6 this season and once Brendan Rodgers has a fully fit team to choose from, they will probably go from point to point.

Even though Brighton looks good to look at, they just haven’t earned enough points this season and I think this could be the case again.

For me, Leicester just has too much quality and I think they will run out of comfortable winners here.
