Mfantsipim School, Ghana’s first high school, has been the target of massive trolling after being kicked out of the ongoing 2020 National Science to Mathematics Questionnaire. (NSMQ 2020).
Mfantsipim was eliminated from stage 1/8 of the competition by Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
In a competition they led from start to finish, KUMACA racked up 53 points against Mfantsipim’s 35 and St Mary’s SHS’s 30.
Being twice winners of the contest in 1999 and 2014, the elimination of Mfantsipim and the way he arrived has surprised fans of the contest.
As if their loss wasn’t bad enough, a photo of their contest has surfaced and it’s even more embarrassing for the contestants and the school.
The photo suggests that the contestants misspelled their name during the contest.
It is part of the contest for schools to solve a ‘problem of the day’ in each of the contests in which they participate.
When Mfantsipim set out to solve theirs in their contest today, the contestants wrote ‘MFANSTIPIM’ instead of ‘MFANTSIPIM’.
The shocking defeat coupled with the big mistake made by the contestants has sparked massive trolling on social media.
In other news, YEN.com.gh has reported that Richard Brown, aka Osebo, the father of Nana Aba Anamoah’s baby, has apologized to him.
In a new post, Osebo, also known as the Zara Man, apologized while sharing a photo of his son, Paa Kow.
The photo shows Paa Kow and her mother at a birthday party.
