It looks like Mesut Ozil will be out of Arsenal’s Premier League squad this season.
It is the last spike of Mikel Arteta, who has already excluded the midfielder from his Europa League squad.
Ozil has one year left on his contract, valued at £ 350,000, and the Gunners have tried to get rid of him.
But the midfielder is happy to be where he is and intends to close his contract until the summer.
However, Arteta will test his determination and leave him out of the team almost entirely.
After knocking him out of the 25-man squad for the Europa League, the Arsenal manager intends to do the same for the Premier League squad, according to the Daily Mail.

Ozil has received no guarantees about his playing time this season and has not played for the Gunners in seven months.
Arteta faces a selection headache ahead of the Premier League registration date.
Arsenal have 19 foreign players, two more than the selection guidelines allow.
In addition to Ozil, Sokratis was also excluded from the Europa League call-up, another player who was told he could leave for the summer.
It marks a staggering decline for the 32-year-old, who was billed as a decisive transfer when he joined Arsenal in 2013.
Arteta’s decision would mean that the former Real Madrid star probably won’t play soccer until January, where his future will once again come into the spotlight.

When pressed about his decision to exclude Ozil from the Europa League, Arteta insisted that it was a difficult decision.
“Well, he wasn’t the only one not on the team,” he said.
“It was a really difficult decision for me because leaving players out of the squad at that level where they know they can’t get involved is really difficult.

“I don’t like it at all, but the decision has to be made because we have a limit of foreign players and unfortunately we have to make that decision.”
However, the Gunners coach offered Ozil a life preserver, albeit a very thin one.
Arteta said: “[Ozil and Sokratis] You have to respect that decision, try to train in the best possible way, help the team as best you can and see what happens ”.
