Rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, known by the stage name Medikal, has promised to compensate his former high school colleague with GHC10k for stealing his chopbox.

The rapper took to his official Twitter account to tell how he used to steal a lot at Odorgonno High School just so his mother and sister could eat.

He recounted how he once stole a green chopbox that belonged to his SHS 2 roommate just so he could support his family because “he had no other choice.”

Medikal wrote: “Whoever is in bedroom 2, if you didn’t find your cutout box for SS2 last quarter it was me. If you really remember and were the proud owner of a green cutout box, come on for ghc 10k now! myself! I can’t choose a vest! “

The Omo Ada singer also added that at one point, he stole a number of irons and sold them on Circle so he could raise money to feed his mother and sister.

Among many other things, Medikal revealed that he sometimes had to ‘smuggle’ food out of the Odorgonno cafeteria, scale the school wall, and bring the food home to share with his family.

Medikal went on a ‘tell it all’ spree as he confessed some of the sins from his past that he wishes were different.
