Medeama SC head coach Samuel Boadu has expressed his frustrations following his 1-1 match with Asante Kotoko.
William Opoku scored in the 75th minute for the Porcupine Warriors before Abass Mohammed came in to score a penalty for the home team to end the game in a stalemate at Akonn Park on Sunday.
But according to Boadu, his team deserves more, but he refused to dig deep into the referees upon spotting a Ghc5000 fine if he dares to cross his limits.
Speaking after the game, Boadu says that umpires must improve their game for the betterment of all.
“I don’t want to talk about officiating because if I express what is in me, I will pay Ghc5000 to the GFA,” he said.
“I don’t know the crime that Medeama has committed against the referees.
“Refereeing both at home and away has not been good for us,” he added.
With 7 points and 13th in the league record, coach Samuel Boadu and his teammates have a mountain to climb if they still dream of winning the Ghana Premier League this year.
