Famous actress and television host Nana Ama McBrown has recently been involved in an accident at home.

According to the actress, she fell and fractured her right arm about two weeks ago and had to undergo surgery.

McBrown revealed this while interacting with his fans in a live video session on his social media pages.

The award-winning actress noted that the accident and subsequent surgery were the reasons she has not been on her United Shobiz show on UTV for the past two weeks.

In explaining what happened, McBrown stated that the right arm that was injured was the same arm that was broken when he was in a serious car accident in 2013.

It will be recalled that McBrown was involved in a near-fatal accident on the N1 highway in Accra in 2013.

McBrown suffered injuries to his right arm and had to undergo two surgeries to correct any defects and heal it.

Although many years have passed since that accident, the recent accident at home affected the parts of his arm where the first surgeries occurred.

Speaking during his interaction with fans, McBrown revealed that the metal frame that was placed on his arm during the first surgery had to be removed and fixed. She said it was a very painful experience and she cried throughout the procedure.

She, however, assured fans that she was on the mend and will be returning to the show very soon.
