The spoils shared at Ohene Ameyaw Akumfi Park when Techiman Eleven Wonders held Ashantigold SC in a 1-1 stalemate in a crucial draw in Week 6.

Both teams started a little slower by sitting further back to observe and imagine the other’s game plan.

Approaching a part of the first half, it was more of a less than boring game as neither team made any inroads to break the game’s virginity.

Finally, midfielder Salifu Ibrahim completed what the Techiman fans expected after scoring to give the hosts an advantage.

Ashantigold SC responded really well in the second half creating some decent chances, but didn’t take any of them.

The midfield combination of Appiah McCarthy, Yaw Annor, and Eric Esso couldn’t perform well as they clicked in their previous games because it lacked balance.

After a huge comeback through injury, dependable defender Samed Ibrahim came off the bench to level things out for the Miners.

Despite the series of attacks and attempts made by both teams, it did not produce any goals as both teams left the field with one point each, as Wonders marks the fourth tied game of the season.

Ashantigold SC will host Berekum Chelsea at Obuasi, while Eleven Wonders will travel to Inter Allies in the next round of games.
