United’s expected lineup today

Manchester United are ready to bring captain Harry Maguire back to their squad for today’s Premier League clash against Tottenham.

United host the Spurs at Old Trafford for kickoff at 4.30pm at Old Trafford, with Maguire back in shape after missing the League Cup midweek encounter with Brighton. Eric Bailly could partner with him for the first time in the league this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also faces a tough decision about whether to include Paul Pogba or Donny van de Beek in midfield, alongside Bruno Fernandes, and Nemanja Matic is likely to start as well.

United only have Axel Tuanzebe injured for the game, and Solskjaer is happy with his squad despite having made only one entry into the transfer market this summer, at Van de Beek.

Here’s our planned lineup: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw; Matic, Van de Beek, Fernandes; Greenwood, Martial, Rashford.
