United change tactic

Manchester United made moves to change their approach when it comes to the transfer window. Despite continuing to add proven talent in the summer with the additions of Edinson Cavani and Alex Telles, following the acquisition of Bruno Fernandes in January, United now want to go after many younger stars.

The process has already begun with the incorporation of Facundo Pellistri at the end of the previous window and an agreement for Amad Diallo from Atalanta agreed for him also arrives this January.

MENS reported that United decided to pursue these goals and will continue to do so in January after a shift in focus from the age profile. The northwest club had sought to sign players between the ages of 23 and 28, players who would have a more immediate impact as the club seeks to reestablish itself as title challengers.

But now United wants to go after younger players with the incentive to build a solid core of quality from their academy and abroad.

Pellistri has been inducted into Manchester United’s squad in the Champions League a couple of times, although he has yet to appear as a senior.

“We feel that Facundo would benefit.” Solskjaer explained. “He started training with the first team, he did well, but we couldn’t give him playing time, so we thought we would give him a streak of games at 23 and he benefited from that. Your confidence has gotten a boost. He has shown in all the games that he can impact the game ”.

Caicedo and Diallo

It seems that in addition to Pellistri and Diallo, United want to add another wonderful young man to their setup. The reported name is Moisés Caicedo. The Ecuadorian midfielder plays for Independiente del Valle in his homeland.

Caicedo has attracted a lot of attention since he broke into the senior international team before his 20th birthday. Caicedo already has 4 caps and is likely to win faster.

“My challenge is to one day be in the elite of world football. I have proposed it to myself, my dream is to play in the Major Leagues ”. Caicedo said.

“The Premier League, Manchester United are my favorite club. I really like the game of N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba, I learn a lot from them every time I see them. I always try to do what they do, that’s why they are there. “

Considering the teenager’s words, it doesn’t seem at all surprising that United are chasing the youngster and hope to reach a deal as soon as possible.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised Atalanta’s incoming midfielder Amad Diallo and said he might even see top-level football in the near future.

“With Amad, hopefully we can get him in and we’ll see what the team looks like and how it looks and how it settles in as soon as possible. They are both talented players who we believe will have a long career here. It is important that we find the right moment ” he said.

With this focus on youth and Solskjaer speaking so highly of it, United will soon have a very youthful look in their lineup. Even more than you currently have.
