MANCHESTER UNITED could decide to turn star Axel Tuanzebe into a midfielder in the Paul Pogba mold.
The 22-year-old stood out in the middle against superstars Neymar and Kylian Mbappé in an impressive 2-1 win at Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.

But United legend and former first team coach Ryan Giggs revealed that he was considered for a starting midfield spot under former boss Louis van Gaal.
And Carrington’s sources believe he has similar qualities to Pogba, who has signed records, which have been obvious when he has played in the engine room during practice.
It leaves Red Devils coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with an interesting choice to make, as Tuanzebe stood out as a center-back at Parc des Princes on Tuesday night.
But Pogba’s long-term future remains in doubt, even though United decided to extend his contract for another year earlier this month.
Giggs recognizes that the youngster has the tools to play in any position, and his versatility will make him invaluable, as long as he can stay in shape.
The Wales manager said: “First of all, he’s a good kid with a good mentality.
“All he has to do now is stay fit and play because he has all the attributes.
“He can handle the ball, he can even play in the midfield.

“We thought about playing with him there when he was in shape with Louis.
“When Louis arrived, he was going through a period of massive growth, so he had some injuries, some discomfort. But you just have to stay in shape.
“He can read the game well and he’s fast, which he showed against PSG.
“But he has to play and when he plays, his confidence will increase.”
Giggs believes Tuanzebe now needs to repeat his performance in the French capital consistently to convince Solskjaer to let him start regularly.
He told Webby and O’Neill Channel: “Once I start hitting in games, it’s up to him to tell Ole ‘I’m doing so well you can’t leave me out of the team.’
“It’s that consistency. He has to produce performances like that over and over again. I am sure that if he stays in shape he will be a regular in the first team.
“He has had that loan time at Villa now, his mentality is good, he is fast, he is strong. He also has all the attributes to be a United center midfielder. “
