United fans name 11 players to be sold
Manchester United fans believe 11 players from the current team should be eliminated in the summer transfer window.
In response to a MEN Sport poll, more than half of United fans voted to ‘sell’ rather than ‘keep’ in relation to Phil Jones, Andreas Pereira, Sergio Romero, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Lee Grant, David de Gea, Tahith Chong, and Fred.
Luke Shaw, Bruno Fernandes, Amad, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were the players the fans unanimously wanted to keep, getting more than 96 percent of the “preserved votes.”
Center-back Jones, who hasn’t played a single minute of football for United this season, got the lowest percentage of votes to ‘keep’ at 5.2 percent. Loan midfielder Pereira, who has played for Lazio this season, was next with 7.2 percent.
Mature stars Romero and Matic had 19.8 percent and Mata 21.1 percent; fans clearly feel that United can shed some of the most experienced players on their team.
