United fans send Gomes warning
Angel Gomes has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with Chelsea the current favorites to secure the highly-rated youngster’s signature.
However, some supporters have warned Gomes that no player is bigger than the club, but do seem worried about losing such a talent to one of their Premier League rivals.
One supporter said on Twitter: “So the club should buckle to his demands and give him what he wants setting a precedent for other youth players. No ones bigger than the club, if this was Fergie he’d pack his bags for him and send him on his way. Sign and develop like the club expect. ”
Another added: “Ole has given young players more chances than most mgrs (managers). If he is not playing regularly to justify what he is asking for, that’s on him. ”

Neville tells Liverpool where they will never emulate United
Former United defender Gary Neville believes his old teammates Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney were a stronger front trio than Liverpool’s current attacking line-up.
The Reds have the explosive front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino at their disposal, but Neville believes his former colleagues were even better.
“Let’s be clear, Tevez for a year with Ronaldo and Rooney was just breathtaking. It was out of this world, it really was, ” Neville explained to Sky Sports ’Football Show.
“Not just because of the quality of the players, there was this real selfish, horrible, nasty determination to those three. Ronaldo in a different sense on the pitch as he would go around kicking people, hassling, hustling, he was a menace with his performance levels.
Rooney and Tevez were streetfighters but with unbelievable ability. There was something about that three, you talk about the best three in the Premier League, the best front three, you’ll never beat those three.
“You can talk about Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino at Liverpool, I love them to bits, and Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane at Manchester City, but you look at the front three of Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo, at their peak, we were out of this world. ”
