Cavani remembered?
Edinson Cavani has as many goals as Anthony Martial despite starting nine fewer games for Manchester United this season and a second Premier League start against Wolves seems likely.
Martial was disappointed in the league again at Leicester, where he never warmed up, and Cavani’s introduction in the 75th minute was late. Within four minutes, he had played Bruno Fernandes to score.
There were giveaways on the Boxing Day side three days earlier in Everton where Martial, Fernandes, David de Gea, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, Scott McTominay, Fred, Daniel James and Marcus Rashford weren’t at the XI. Harry Maguire and Eric Bailly are proof that Solskjaer is prepared to make exceptions, but it does not seem advisable to retain Martial for Wolves.
Where else to rotate?
Lindelof has been taking care of a back problem for more than a year and is unlikely to be overlooked as a winger or center-back, despite the flattering stats when he misses league games. United have lost three of the four Lindelof has lost since the start of last season.
Manchester United were frustrated after a late draw denied them victory at Leicester at the early start of Boxing Day.
United took the lead twice with goals from Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes, but a late goal from Jamie Vardy meant the game ended 2-2, meaning the Reds missed their chance to overtake the Foxes and take second. place in the Premier League table.
United don’t have to wait too long to get back on the winning track as they host the Wolves on Tuesday night.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, sad for most of the season, is back in training and Solskjaer may prefer to maintain continuity at center-back with Maguire and Bailly, despite the option of Axel Tuanzebe.
Paul Pogba does not represent a pick of principles in the midst of his search for a transfer, but he has been more reliable this month than lukewarm Donny van de Beek, and Mason Greenwood would freshen up the attack.
The best chance to beat the wolves?
February 1 marked not only Fernandes ‘United debut, but also United-Wolves’ third game of 2020, setting a sinister tone for a sinister year. Based on the game’s goalless conclusion, some had spent 0.6 percent of the decade watching United-Wolves matches.

Tonight is the seventh meeting between the teams under Solskjaer’s watch and the Wolves are unbeaten against United in the league since their promotion in 2018. They finally drew a draw against Tottenham in the 86th minute on Sunday and their excursions will have left them. exhausted from a game two days later.
The turnaround between games is so tight for Wolves that it could be United’s best chance of beating them with Solskjaer.
Henderson to wait?
Dean Henderson has had three starts and a 45-minute outing in the past 30 days and David de Gea has not kept goal for more than two consecutive games during that sequence.
De Gea could make three in a row this week if he lines up against Wolves and Aston Villa, but the litmus test of Solskjaer’s ruthlessness will come in next week’s Carabao Cup semi-final with Manchester City, if he goes ahead.
Despite starting almost all of the cup qualifiers before the final four stages of last season, Sergio Romero was eliminated by De Gea in United’s four semi-finals.
Blessing Henderson against City would risk trouble and United will also host Watford in the FA Cup next week. Opening De Gea in both league games this week is arguably Solskjaer’s best approach to keeping both goalkeepers happy.

Youth with a scream?
Facundo Pellistri, Ethan Laird, Anthony Elanga, Will Fish and Shola Shoretire trained with United’s first team on Sunday and the average age between them is 17. Shoretire is still 16 years old and is already a starter in the U-23.
United could be without the injured Lindelof and Rashford felt a recurrence of his shoulder injury at Leicester. Even with nine substitutes to choose from at this demanding time of year, United’s team is big enough to keep rookies out.
Given how redundant Odion Ighalo and Jesse Lingard are before the winter window, calling up Pellistri, an unused substitute in the Champions League wins over Paris Saint-Germain and Istanbul Basaksehir, would have merit.
