Manchester City and Barcelona are the two clubs supposedly ‘closest‘to sign Valencia winger Fabio Blanco, according to the latest reports emerging from Spain on Friday night.
The 17-year-old is understood to be one of the Mestalla club’s most promising players, however his current contract expires on June 30.
As a result of Valencia’s failed efforts to renew the teenager’s contract so far, several European clubs are showing great interest in the player.
According to journalist Salva Gomis, Barcelona and Manchester City are the two clubs that are ‘closest to taking over‘Fabio Blanco, if he doesn’t renew his contract.

The 21-year-old has enjoyed a promising start in the Premier League, and could possibly offer some encouraging advice to the 17-year-old Blanco if the teenager listened to the interest of Pep Guardiola’s team.
