Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits that Paul Pogba wants to be in a club where he can win trophies.
The Frenchman is strongly linked to the exit door following comments from his agent Mino Raiola.
He has won just two honors, in 2017, at United and his coach claimed his success would help them take hold of their star players.
“It is always a requirement here at Manchester United to win trophies,” Solskjaer told ESPN.
“And the more we win trophies, the more players will want to play for us, so the higher standard must be set.
“It is a demand for the players, a challenge for the players that we want to improve and improve more and more.
“Paul has been here for a while and of course he wants to win more trophies. He has a very, very good attitude to training and playing soccer.
“He loves football, he is ambitious, he wants to succeed, like most of those who are part of the team. We are not all the same.
Rival Reds of Utd by Kabak
United are poised to rival Liverpool as both seek the services of Schalke’s Ozan Kabak, the Daily Mail reports.
The defender is linked to a £ 25 million move to the Premier League after having impressed with the Bundesliga squad.
Liverpool’s defensive resources have been put to the test, while the Red Devils wanted a center half in the summer but didn’t get one.
Solskjaer is still looking for a partner for Harry Maguire, which has been underscored by his transfer plans.

And the Serbian seems to be a match for both clubs due to his physical attributes.
Milenkovic is valued at around £ 23 million by the Serie A team with reports in the Italian newspaper La Nazione claiming that interest in the middle half is increasing.
The 23-year-old is an established international with 26 appearances for Serbia.
