Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might be tempted to return to Manchester United XI that beat Leeds 6-2 last weekend when the Red Devils take on Leicester City at King Power Stadium on Boxing Day.
The United manager made nine changes for the midweek victory at Everton in the Carabao Cup, with only Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes holding their places since the Leeds win.
The pair are likely to start again in the clash between the teams that sit second and third in the table, and Solskjaer is wary of the quality of the Foxes.
“We have had some good games against Leicester, very close games,” he said at his press conference.
“They are a very good team with a very good coach and I have enjoyed watching them with Brendan [Rodgers].

“It was a great test for us to go there in their stadium for the last league game of last season in the summer.
“We passed that one with flying colors. I felt like we really controlled the game.
“I know it’s not going to be the same now because it’s a different time of the season. They have some threats to look for ”.
United have a habit of conceding the first goal in recent games, and Solskjaer says they can’t afford to keep doing so /
“It will catch up with you if you keep letting the other team take the lead, and Leicester is one of those teams that you don’t want to give a one or two goal advantage to because they have so many players in the transition,” Solskjaer said.

“If they can take advantage of the result, you could easily concede two, three or four. So we have to start as well as we did (against Everton in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals).
“Of course, the first goal in any game is very important.”
If the Norwegian returns to the same XI that started Leeds’ win, it will mean Scott McTominay has overcome a tight groin, while Daniel James is pushing to start after scoring last weekend.
Paul Pogba would miss it, although his participation is likely to depend on McTominay’s physical form.
Probable XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, Fernandes, James, Rashford, Martial.
