Man runs away from wedding after lover applied for GH60K marriage bill

A Nigerian man by the Twitter name Nwoke Agulu on Monday, September 21, recounted how he ‘creatively’ stood up a lady after seeing a huge wedding bill.

Nwoke said that everything went wrong with the relationship when she told him that she would have to budget N4 million for her wedding.

It didn’t stop there. According to him, the lady said that she would have to deposit the sum of N1 million in her account for expenses, adding that she would have to sell. “aso ebi“.

The Nigerian said that to escape everything he had to go to the hospital and falsify a medical record that says he is AS, knowing that the lady also has the same genotype.

Upon seeing the report and learning that marriage between two AS people is inadvisable, they both ‘cried’ and parted ways.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian doctor identified as Ugwunna Ejikem took to his Twitter page to warn people who came to him to ask him for false genotype results to avoid marriage.

According to him, if a person is dating someone whose parents will not allow them to marry for whatever reason, such as their tribe, educational status or even finances, he urged those people to inform their partners before things go too far.
