Former President John Mahama will return to the Ashanti region to continue his campaign, which he stopped after the death of former President Jerry John Rawlings, announced a statement from the regional arm of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Signed by Mr. Kwame Zu, the statement says that the NDC presidential candidate will arrive at Kumasi airport on Friday, November 20, 2020 “at 7 am sharp and the secretariat urges the executives of the constituency, parliamentary candidates , branch executives, stakeholders, party members, supporters and the general public will be at the airport to welcome the next president of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama ”.

The Ashanti regional secretariat of the NDC announces, for the information of the grassroots of our great party and the people of the Ashanti region, that the leader and standard bearer of the NDC, and the next president of Ghana, HE John Dramani Mahama, will will, starting Friday, November 20, 2020, continues his campaign tour of the Ashanti region for the 2020 elections.
