The next administration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will build more mortuaries in Zongo communities, former President John Dramani Mahama promised.

According to him, this is part of the many intervention programs that the NDC plans to implement to develop the Zongos and disadvantaged communities when he assumes the government of this nation in 2021.

In an interview on Woezor TV monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, John Mahama said that the morgue will help preserve the dead in the Zongo areas.

Mahama today, Sunday, September 20, 2020, has just finished his tour in the Bono East region before the December elections.

Upon accessing his tour of the region, he spoke about his track record in infrastructure, as well as his incorporation as Nkosuohene (Head of Development) in Apesika and other traditional areas in the East Bono Region.

Mr. Mahama regretted the failure of the administration of his successor, President Nana Akufo-Addo, to continue the infrastructure projects that he started during his tenure.

Among other things, the NDC Standard Bearer has promised the chiefs that he will bring better developments in traditional areas and admonished them to support him in overthrowing the PNP government.

He also promised farmers in the region that his new administration will convert the Ministry of Food and Agriculture into the Ministry of Agriculture and Agroindustry to better serve their needs.
