Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina criticized the World Health Organization (WHO) for being skeptical about the effectiveness of the country’s Covid-Organics drink, which is allegedly a cure for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rajoelina has put her reputation and credibility at stake by promoting the drug as a cure.

The drink is derived from artemisia, a plant with proven antimalarial properties, and other indigenous herbs.
“What is really the problem with Covid-Organics?
“Could it be that this product comes from Africa?
“Could it be that it is not right that a country like Madagascar, which is the 63rd poorest country in the world … has devised (this formula) that can help save the world?” asked Rajoelina, who claims that the infusion cures patients in ten days.
Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Niger and Tanzania have already received shipments from Covid-Organics, which launched last month.
“No one will prevent us from moving forward, not a country or an organization,” Rajoelina said in response to the WHO’s concerns.
He said that the proof of the effectiveness of the tonic was in the “cure” of “our patients”, calling it a “preventive and curative remedy”.
Rajoelina said Madagascar has reported 171 coronavirus infections and 105 recoveries to date, with no deaths.
“Patients who have been cured have taken no other product than Covid-Organics,” added the president.
Reminding viewers that Madagascar has a long history of traditional medicine, Rajoelina noted that many licensed pharmaceutical drugs in the West have turned out to be harmful, such as the weight-loss drug Mediator in France.
