Therefore, he has appealed to all those who were eligible to exercise their right to vote that day to vote en masse for him to change Ghana for the better.
Speaking to the Daily Graphic, Mr. Akpaloo said he was convinced that he was the one chosen to rescue Ghanaians from the broken promises of both the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Akpaloo said he was seeking the term of office to be president to unlock the potential of the people in the country, which had been blocked by previous governments, adding that he would do so through education and technology.
Policies
Highlighting his core policies when elected to power, Mr. Akpaloo noted that he would provide funding through subsidies to support commercial production of rice and poultry throughout the country to discourage the import of such products, adding that “ This will encourage farmers to produce more of what we eat here in Ghana and create more jobs.

“We want to create a $ 10 billion employment fund to provide loans to young people and recent graduates who want to start their own businesses. We hope to create and build a million new entrepreneurs in our first term, ”he said.
Mr. Akpaloo acknowledged that the Free SHS Policy was very good, but said it would also make college education free for the majority of the population to get educated to grow the country’s economy, adding that “in this way , you will be building a qualified level of workers who will add value to the economy by paying taxes ”.
Akpaloo, a native of Anyako in the Volta region, said that when he voted for the office, he would pay child support benefits to help parents and guardians make ends meet.
That, he said, will continue until the boy turns 18. Therefore, each child would be entitled to an amount of ¢ 200 GH per month and ¢ 300 GH each for twins.
When asked how he was going to do that, he said: “This will not be difficult because all the children will be in one database, as they will be registered as soon as they are born, which will facilitate identification and distribution.”

He later decided to participate in the general elections of December 2016, but was disqualified from participating in that election as the party’s presidential candidate by the Electoral Commission (EC) due to anomalies with his nomination forms.
Akpaloo said he had everything he needed to win this year’s election without fail because his number on the ballot said it all.
“I’m number eight on the ballot and eight signifies a new life, resurrection, or a new beginning, so there’s no way I’m going to fail this time,” he said confidently.
