Atletico Madrid are reportedly looking to lure Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Spain this summer in a swap deal with Ghanaian host Thomas Partey, and Reds fans have reacted on Twitter.
Partey, 26, has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, and Arsenal are said to be interested in a move for Ghanaian Partey international. However, The Sun doubts whether Arsenal can reach its £ 45 million price tag.
Diego Simeone’s side is also expected to lack transfer funds this summer, given the current global health crisis. Many transfer experts have already stated that free transfers, loan offers, and player swapping are probably the order of the day.

The Argentine coach wants to use Partey to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain, 26, who remains a crucial part of Jurgen Klopp’s team, who has played 34 times in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals in those matches.
Liverpool already have several starting midfielders, in the form of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and James Milner, although Partey is beginning to be considered one of the best in the world in his position.
Many Liverpool supporters reacted on Twitter to the news that Oxlade-Chamberlain could be traded for Partey in the coming months, and some think it might be a deal that would benefit the Reds, while others disagree.

Alex is a great player and his style of play is suitable for Liverpool. Alex must not be exchanged for any other player. He is a budding legend. Age is on your side. Thomas must go to the gunners there, he will be fine.
