The Second Lady, Ms. Samira Bawumia, has warned the people of the Volta region to vote en masse for the New Patriotic Party (PNP) in the December elections.
He affirmed that the government led by the PNP has fulfilled most of its campaign promises and has initiated many programs that have brought development and transformation to people’s lives, therefore, “let’s vote for a government that really cares.
Ms Bawumia, who paid a visit to the Zongo community in Ho, said that the Volta region has witnessed massive socio-economic development under the administration led by the nuclear power plant.
According to her, politics has to do with development, so it was important to vote for the people who defended the development of the country and urged the people to renew the mandate of President Akufo-Addo.
He also urged people to vote for Mr. Prosper Pi-Bansah, the party’s parliamentary candidate for Ho Central, saying: “I know things will change with the NPP deputy in the constituency.”
Ms. Bawumia donated 100 pieces of plastic chairs to the Zongo community in the Volta region.
The Regional Chief Imam, Alhaji Alfa Anas expressed his gratitude to the Second Lady for the visit and the donation.
