Let us show our appreciation by voting to retain President Akufo-Addo – Katakyie | Politics

Dennis Katakyie, National President of the Nation Builders Corps Apprentices Association (NaBCo) of Ghana (NABTAG), has asked program beneficiaries to show their appreciation by voting for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the general election of December.

“The only way to thank the president for creating jobs for us is by voting to keep his government in political power,” he said.

Mr. Katakyie made the call while speaking at the closing session of a two-day training workshop for more than 1,200 NaBCo beneficiaries held in Sunyani on the topic: “Preparing for permanent employment.”

He said that President Akufo-Addo’s vision of reducing the youth unemployment situation and transforming the national economy would be a mirage if the beneficiaries did not vote to retain their government in the December 7 elections.

Katakyie said the socio-economic livelihoods of NaBCo employees improved since the program was introduced, and said that most employees were able to raise their standard of living with the monthly allowances they received under the program.

Describing the program as laudable, he pleaded with recipients to continue to work hard and discipline themselves in their respective workplaces to be considered when there are openings.

He said the Association was also working to secure permanent jobs for beneficiaries.

Ernest Botah, executive director of Vision Way Organization and Micro Credit, said that with a good attitude and hard work, apprentices could become the choice of any employer and urged them to consider entrepreneurship.

NaBCo Sunyani Municipal Coordinator Mr. Seth Cudjoe advised grantees to always check their portals to facilitate processing and avoid delays in paying their monthly allowances.
