A daughter of the Special Prosecutor has asked the Bawku Central MP, Mahama Ayariga, to leave her out of her legal problems with her father, Martin Amidu.

Mr. Ayariga on trial, accused by the Special Prosecutor for alleged contracting infractions.

He and six others face seven counts of conspiracy, incitement, violation of the request for quotation procedure, use of public office for profit, and currency transfer from Ghana through an unauthorized distributor.

In an interview with Evans Mensah on PM Express on JoyNews on Tuesday night, the Mr. said that despite his continuing legal disputes with the Special Prosecutor, he has no problem with him or his family.

He went on to tell what he described as a recent trip he took with Amidu’s daughter, and how she sympathized with him regarding the ongoing court case.

But Hagar Amidu says Mahama Ayariga’s claim that he drove her to Bawku with her while they argued that the problem was untrue.

“I heard him say that he is free with me and that he had a conversation with me on the matter. I’ve never sat in his car. ”

“I’m not part of it … It’s not my business … I’m not a special prosecutor. I should deal with the special prosecutor. I don’t even know what’s going on, so I don’t know why he should go out and talk about me and mention my name, “Hagar Amidu told Emefa Appau on JoyNews.

Hagar Amidu also denied having had commitments with Mr. Ayariga in “his office affairs”.

“I used to have a good relationship with him. I am not fighting with him. This is between him and my father and that is his job. I am not a part I am not a politician I want him to leave me alone ”, he said.
