Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Daniel Amartey has recovered from his hamstring injury and has trained very well.
The Ghana center-back suffered a hamstring injury in the Foxes’ 3-0 Premier League loss to West Ham United at home in October and was substituted in the 55th minute.
The 47-year-old strategist says that Amartey has returned to training and that they are just processes that he must follow and that he will enter the games when he is ready.
“Daniel Amartey has returned to training and has trained very well,” he said in his pre-game press ahead of Leicester City’s game against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday in the Premier League.
“It will be a process with him and when we can introduce him again in any game that we can,” Rodgers concluded.
The 25-year-old returned from a nearly two-year injury layoff in September and played in four games for the Foxes before suffering a new hamstring injury against the Hammers.
