Chelsea have made the decision to put midfield star N’Golo Kante on the transfer list in a bid to fund a move to long-term target Declan Rice.
That’s according to transfer expert Ian McGarry, according to the Daily Express, who says Chelsea want to ditch Kante as a way to raise funds to make a move for West Ham United ace Rice.
Rice, who began his youth career at Stamford Bridge, has been strongly linked with a move to West London in recent months, and Lampard is eager to add the England international to his ranks.
West Ham values Rice at £ 73 million, which means Chelsea are well aware that they will have to ditch the players in an effort to convince them to trade London’s stadium for Stamford Bridge.
