The winner of the 2020/2021 Ghana Women’s Premier League will take home GHC 50,000 as prize money and the runner-up will take home GHC 30,000. This was contained in President Kurt ES Okraku’s speech on Thursday, November 6, 2020, during the launch of the new season.
The President added that, in addition to the prize money, 40 gold medals will also be awarded to players, officials and members of the technical team of the winning team.
The second classified team will take home an amount of 30,000 GHC plus 40 silver medals. While the third-place team in each zone would receive GHC 15,000 plus 30 bronze medals.
In addition, he announced that there will be a purchase voucher worth 2,000 GHC for the 16 participating teams from our proud partners, Melcom Ghana.
According to the president, the two best-performing coaches in each zone at the end of the season will be incorporated off the shores of Ghana to improve their ability. The Ghana Women’s Premier League will start on January 2, 2020.
