Kumerican rapper Phrimpong has responded to Yaa Pono’s song of deterrence, about his choice of words and description of the Kumasi artists.
The Tema rapper, who desperately asked for “beef” to revive his relevance, tried with all his might to get the attention of Shatta Wale, who is considered the Apostle of Beef.
But Shatta Wale openly rejected his offer.
In the quest to be relevant, Yaa Pono dropped a song with nearly every artist in Ghana, including the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Program.
He used Shatta Wale for publicity, but ended up criticizing the innocent Sarkodie and all rappers, as well as Kumerian artists.
According to Yaa Pono, after Shatta Wale was introduced by Beyonce, he only got one collaboration with the Kumasi artists, which is a low grade.
This has infuriated the artists of Kumasi.
In reaction to this, rapper Phrimpong has responded with a song titled “That Line”, which describes Yaa Pono as an underground artist who has achieved nothing by making music.
