Popular Kumawood actor Andrew Ntul Mensah, also known as ‘Scorpion GH’, was reportedly shot by armed robbers.
He was reportedly attacked at his home at Aburaso New Site near Kumasi in the Ashanti region around 2:40 am on Thursday.
Officers from the Suntreso District Police Command rushed to the scene after a call for help and found Scorpion in a pool of blood at the home.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the perpetrators used a car hitch to expand parts of a burglar-proof and gained access to the main building and headed straight for the victim’s door.
Scorpion’s brother Emmanuel Ntul, who confirmed this to the media, said that his brother was shot in the right thigh and left ribs by one of the gunmen during a fight.
“He was with his wife and children when the incident occurred. They forced the door during a struggle and according to him, one of them was ordered to shoot my brother, ”he said.
He said Scorpion was taken to Komfo Anokye University Hospital and is receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, the police have since recovered the idiot, three empty cartridges of spent 9mm cartridges and a nasal mask as part of their investigations.
