Asante Kotoko’s man, Augustine Okrah, is about to seal a permanent transfer to Moroccan powerhouse RS Berkane, several reports in his native Ghana have claimed.

The 27-year-old arrived in the North African country on Wednesday to complete the paperwork.

The talented forward is expected to sign a permanent contract after passing a mandatory medical exam.

Okrah’s contract with the Porcupine Warriors expires in January, which means the Ghanaian giants are desperate to strike a deal with him to avoid losing him for free.

The two-time champion of Africa has sanctioned his move to the CAF Confederation Cup champions and both parties are believed to have reached an agreement.

The former BK Hacken and Al-Merrikh winger joined Kotoko in 2019 after a year at NorthEast United in the Indian Super League.

Morocco’s RS Berkane beat the Egyptian Pyramids 1-0 in the first one-off final of the Confederation Cup to win their first African title in October.

The team is eager to add the Ghanaian to their roaster ahead of his participation in the 2020-21 CAF Champions League.
