Asante Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah has reportedly invoked curses on the club’s youth team coach after an unsuccessful meeting on Saturday.

Asare revealed in an interview with Kumasi-based radio station Pure FM that a meeting with Nana Yaw Amponsah last weekend at the Royal Baron Hotel ended abruptly following the CEO’s decision to reassign him to a new position.
According to him, Nana Yaw Amponsah told him and his colleague Stephen Manu that the duo will work as a scout for the team under his administration following the ongoing restructuring process in the club’s technical team.
The former club defender said he demanded payment of his salary since joining the club as a youth coach in 2020 before taking up any position under the directed direction of Nana Yaw Amponsah.
However, he said that the CEO ordered him to demand his unpaid salary from the club president, Dr. Kwame Kyei, as he was the person who hired him.
He then narrated that Nana Yaw Amponsah wanted to fight with him, so he chose to leave the meeting and in his absence, Stephen Manu, who was in the meeting with him along with the CEO, told him that he had been cursed by the CEO. . of the club.
