Hearts of Oak head coach Kostadin Papic will step down next week following a misunderstanding with the club’s hierarchy.
The 60-year-old Serbian coach is reportedly unhappy with the club’s board of directors following their last meeting on Thursday.
His resignation will come as a huge blow to the Ghanaian Premier League giants after their assistant coach Asare Bediako resigned earlier this week.
Papic returned to the club after 8 games played in the course of a season with the club in 2009, where he left mid-season due to management interference.
Reports further indicate that the Tanzanian club has expressed interest in the veteran coach.
Papic, however, has been under pressure after failing to win in four games.
Hearts of Oak is currently in ninth position in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League table with 17 points after matchday 13.
He has rich experience as a coach in Africa working with clubs in South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria and Tanzania.
Papic has previously worked with Lobi Stars, Enyimba FC, Enugu Rangers, Maritzburg United, Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Young Africans SC, Chippa United, Black Leopards, and Polokwane City.
