Legendary musician Alfred Benjamin popularly known as AB Crenstil has said that the only person in the music industry who saves highlife music is Kofi Kinaata.
According to him, the new Artist in the system has managed to kill Ghana’s musical genre with modern day funky instrumentals. He said that gender identity is being lost due to different types of instrumentals.

He told Joy FM, “I am disappointed with the current trend of artists who have taken up highlife music. Lots of foreign genres are mixed with high life sounds today, which makes it feel adopted and not cool. “
He added: “You can clearly hear the person making funky music, but the person will say they are making high-life music.

“These new high-life artists are taking down the high-life genre. I am very concerned about this. The only Ghanaian who keeps life burning is Kofi Kinaata.
“Now I listen to Kofi Kinaata and he is doing well and is recovering the great life, which is being lost in the system,” he added.
