Klopp considers moving when Liverpool told Price to sign Ajax talent

Liverpool are considering a January approach after learning of the price needed to buy an Ajax sensation, while Manchester United learned of a regular Bayern Munich dream of moving to Old Trafford, according to transfer gossip on Saturday.

PERR SCHUURS SAID HE CAN GET OUT OF AJAX

Liverpool have been told they will have to pay £ 26.7 million if they want to sign Ajax defender Perr Schuurs in January.

The 20-year-old is being monitored by the Reds as they look to bring in more defensive reinforcements.

Virgil van Dijk’s ACL injury kicked off a terrible injury streak for the Reds. They then lost Fabinho due to a slight hamstring problem. More serious, Joe Gomez has also been out of the game this season with a knee problem.. Trent Alexander-Arnold is another set to miss in Sunday’s game with Leicester.

The Reds have teamed up with a host of big-name players to fill the void.

Despite that, they won’t be spent lavishly, which means that talking about a £ 55 million deal for 29-year-old Kalidou Koulibaly seems unlikely.

Instead, Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are much more likely to focus on the early 1920s. Schalke Bard Squash – valued at 35 million euros (31.2 million pounds sterling) – is a player who fits that budget.

Another however is Schuurs from Ajax. He has already been mentioned as a potential Liverpool target.

Now the Reds have been told that the young Dutchman can leave for a fee of 30 million euros (26.7 million pounds) in January.

That price is unlikely to scare Liverpool away.

Reports in Italy – cited by the Echo of Liverpool – Claim offers for the 20 year old will be considered in the winter window.

That gives Klopp and company a lot to think about and an offer could be made for a player who has already made it to the Netherlands national team.

However, Liverpool are not the only club on the market for Schuurs. It was also reported that AC Milan is interested in the central half, and has also watched it closely.
