Eagle-eyed Killing Eve fans reveal how handwriting at a murder scene could lead Eve to the real culprit after Villanelle was charged with the crime

Killing Eve fans were concerned about the future of Eve and Villanelle’s relationship after the killer was charged with murder in the episode the night before.
The murderer Dasha (Dame Harriet Walker) was tasked with opening a gap between the two women because Villanelle’s ’employers’ were increasingly concerned about their erratic behavior.
He came up with the plan to stab Niko (Owen McDonnell) dies in front of Eve (Sandra Oh), after luring her to the Polish farm where she worked.

To make it appear that Villanelle (Jodie Comer) was responsible, Dasha copied one of the killer’s signature moves and left a note on the murder weapon before fleeing the scene.
The note, tied to the end of the gallows with a ribbon, said: “I still have it.”
Viewers who protected Villanelle and Eve’s relationship were devastated that Eve was unable to forgive the killer for the crime.

However, other eagle-eyed fans suggested that Eve will be able to spot the ruse since the lyrics don’t match Villanelle’s.
They noted that Eve has already received similar notes from Villanelle, which were written in a script much more elegant than that found at the crime scene.
A fan wrote on Twitter: ‘Of course, Eve will know that V was not the one who did that because she will obviously notice that the letter is different and V will not write “I still have it” in a note. She is too smart for that. She always leaves clues subtly.

Others suggested that Dasha’s note may have been a message to Villanelle, showing that she “still understands it” despite facing retirement.
