Social media commentator Kevin Taylor ridiculed a million cedi court charge against him for defamatory remarks he made about Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, cousin of Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
An Accra High Court (Commercial Court 10) presided over by Judge Jennifer Abena Dadzie awarded damages against the controversial commentator.
Kevin Taylor has finally taken note of the court order delivered by Gabby Otchere-Darko through her attorney, but has responded with seemingly broad satire.
Taylor posted a million dollar check on his Facebook timeline on October 28, in an attempt to say that he is paying Gabby Otchere-Darko one million dollars not in cedis as reported in the court charges. .
He also added that he has supplemented it with a small fee to buy “AIDS drugs” for Gabby Otchere-Darko.
